Homework Hotline Move to Include: 3D Printed Prosthetics
NY Emmy Award Winning Segment for WXXI-TV
Homework Hotline and the Golisano Foundation have teamed up on a new project called Move to Include. This project and partnership are designed to promote inclusion for people with intellectual and physical disabilities. Through programming, Homework Hotline and the Golisano Foundation look to build a more inclusive community by inspiring and motivating people to embrace different abilities and include all people in every aspect of community life.
In this Move to Include video we visit the Rochester Institute of Technology, to learn about a new technology called 3D Printing. We meet an RIT Research Scientist who is using 3D Printers to design, create and distribute plastic prosthetic hands to children who need them!
I was the producer on this segment.
